
“I offer a range of bodywork techniques and draw from the various modalities in which I have been trained to offer a customized session for each client. Sessions are usually a combination of two or more of the following: Myofascial, Shiatsu and Swedish massage. My belief is that we are our own best caretakers. You have been inhabiting your body your whole life so I will take my cues from the expert - you! I hope to be a partner, a facilitator in the upkeep of your health and well-being.
Myofascial is a slow and meditative process that opens, lengthens, and realigns the body by releasing the tight, constricted fascial network that supports your organs and joints. Myofascial work helps to correct postural imbalances, relieve pain, and release restrictions in a gentle but deeply penetrating fashion. No oil is used.
Shiatsu is an Eastern massage technique that combines firm tissue manipulation, friction, and gentle touch to specific pressure points and energy pathways of the body. Also helps remove blockages and free the flow of energy to the body to restore, promote, and maintain optimal health.”
