My mission is to use touch and the art of massage to serve as a beginning or continuum for empowering an individual to engage in his/her own healing process. I view myself as a facilitator for your healing, using my fine-tuned therapeutic presence and technical skills to bring your body to a more neutral place. It is in this place of balance you have less pain and discomfort and your body's infinite wisdom will continue to heal long after you leave my office.
Most often we meet when your life is being disrupted because your body/mind is functioning in a less than optimal way. I am a skilled listener who takes the time to assess your current situation and develop a treatment plan that will help you reach your goal.
Once we begin treatment, I use my knowledge and experience to interact with your body in the way that it will understand most clearly how to release stress, tension and old holding patterns. I find vibrational tools such as tuning forks helpful to stimulate the healing process.
