My ideal client is someone who could use lymph drainage (LDT). They are managing chronic toxicity from something like Lyme disease, fibromyalgia or even MS. LDT also can ease the swelling associated with cancer and its treatment. It speeds up the healing process with sprains and strains and makes us look younger too. My other favorite client needs craniosacral therapy (CST). They are dealing with something like developmental delays, ADD or sensory integration issues. It’s also good for promoting ongoing wellbeing. A baby who needs help adjusting to its new environment or who had a difficult birth will benefit in many ways from CST.

I graduated with an AAS degree in massage therapy and had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of modalities such as; medical ,sports , pre and post-natal, reiki, as well as holistic treatments. It's important to me to evaluate each client to make the most of the session, to allow you to be able to live pain free as best as possible.

Relief from pain or stiffness arising from injuries, accidents, or long-term structural alignment issues. Most treatments are performed while you are fully clothed. I work to try regain mobility, stability, and pain-free movement. I use a technique called Myofascial Balancing. I do not work like you would typically find at a spa with "smooshing-type" or gliding strokes with a massage oil.

Massage therapy is not a luxury but an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Bringing the body into better alignment allows you to move, sit and sleep without the stress of nagging pain, increasing efficiency in work and play. In my practice, your massage is just that - your massage, responsive to you and your body. I am a graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage and the Vodder School International and a lifelong learner, embracing continuing education as a means of expanding my skills.

With 22 years of clinical experience and 20,000+ hours of hands on time with clients, I bring a wealth of healing experience to every session. Specializing in John Barnes Myofascial Release, I gently work with the fascia, releasing the binding and holding patterns it can form over time. Unresolved injuries, accidents, scars or emotional traumas occurring with these events can leave you feeling like you are trapped in a tight web, unable to break free. But with a mix of compassion, intuition, and expertise I can help you break free! Giving lasting results not achieved in other treatments.

Who can practice massage in Everett?
Most states have licensing requirements that must be met before a practitioner (a 'masseuse' or 'masseur') can use the title 'Massage Therapist', and some states require a license to practice any form of massage. Licensed Massage Therapists in Everett have obtained the highest level of authentication. They must complete academic coursework in anatomy and physiology, as well as on the application of massage and bodywork, business and ethics, and specialized massage techniques. The Everett LMT must then pass a certification exam.

What are the benefits of Everett massage?
Clients use massage in Everett because it relieves pain from muscle aches and sprains, muscle injuries and other causes of pain. It reduces stress and helps clients relax, and can decrease feelings of anxiety and depression by stimulating the release of endorphins and serotonin. How does massage work?
Massage involves working and acting on the body using pressure from the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, or feet of the massage therapist. The Everett massage therapist focuses on muscles, tendons, ligaments, myofacia, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system.
