My name is Mel. I have been working as a private masseuse for 10 years now. I absolutely love what I do, and I strive to provide a powerful healing experience that goes beyond your average massage. I am also a certified life coach and marma therapist and I believe that our thoughts and words have a major impact on our bodies and general well being. I focus on connecting and healing mind, body, and soul all together through the power of touch. I work out of my private location in DTLA in a secure building and with a full guest restroom available if necessary. I work by appointment only and they are best made 24-48hrs ahead.

I offer a natural, comprehensive, somatic approach to headache, migraine, stress, pain, tension, and trauma. I developed Transcranial Somatic Therapy (tST) in 1970. This protocol calms and resolves headache and migraine pain and its associated symptoms, such as light, sound, and smell sensitivity, nausea, and lethargy. Effective communication is a key component in the therapist-client relationship, and I encourage each client to keep me informed during the session of any modifications they need.

I'm a licensed massage therapist practicing Structural Integration and somatic bodywork. Integrating heart and science into every session, I believe that bodywork, often pursued in relief of pain, can also improve our relationship with our bodies and deepen our experience in the world around us. I bring an awareness of the educational, experiential process of receiving bodywork, making lasting change through awareness and embodiment, in addition to very effective technique. Originally from New York, I trained at The Swedish Institute in New York City (a 1226-hour program) and at IPSB in San Diego.
