My name is Rocio Rodriguez. I have been working in the massage field for the last 16 years. Originally, I started off in college as a physical therapist major. I was introduced to massage and I was immediately drawn to the spiritual connection between mind and body, and as a result I actually went into the massage field. Massage therapy allowed me to develop a deep relationship with my clients in order to get a better understanding of their aliments. My massage practice is about helping the client heal physical and spiritual wounds.

I offer a natural, comprehensive, somatic approach to headache, migraine, stress, pain, tension, and trauma. I developed Transcranial Somatic Therapy (tST) in 1970. This protocol calms and resolves headache and migraine pain and its associated symptoms, such as light, sound, and smell sensitivity, nausea, and lethargy. I offer lymphatic drainage massage to post-surgery clients, and anyone with swelling or immune system needs. It's a gentle form of massage that uses the body's own natural filtration system to speed healing from injuries or surgeries. I also provide in-home massages.

I provide clients with services that address and accommodate their individual and specific needs. This includes those in wheelchairs and those who are bedridden. All massage services are conveniently provided in the comfort of your own residence.

I specialize in working with stress, injuries, pain, muscle soreness, swelling and post surgical recovery, using a variety of therapeutic modalities including: therapeutic, deep tissue, sports massage and manual lymphatic drainage and cranial sacral therapy. Sessions are therapeutic in nature and aim at resolving issues related to muscle overuse, stress, post surgery, post injury, fatigue, poor posture or structural concerns. I work confidently with your injury or muscular skeletal concerns and have had a healing practice for over 15 years with 5+ years experience working in medical settings.

I've had a Manual Therapy healing practice for 35 years. I consistently observe that the path to healing arises from a deep listening & from attaining balance & flow between the physical, emotional & spiritual aspects of our being. My interest in Holistic Health Care began when I put myself through University & Graduate school working as a Massage Therapist. At that same time, from an inspired vision, I designed, developed, & taught a program on Therapeutic Touch for the elderly at the Desert Institute for the Healing Arts. I hold MA Certification in Gerontology, BA in French Literature & Dance, & BA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Pre Med, Life Sciences & Humanities.
