After extensive research and dissection of the human body during my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, I went on to massage school in Washington. My understanding of the the body and especially soft tissue led to my specialty in injury treatment and sports massage which entails deep tissue work, myofascial therapy as well as relaxation techniques to help your mind and your body get to a more efficiently functioning state.

Massage therapy is not a luxury but an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Bringing the body into better alignment allows you to move, sit and sleep without the stress of nagging pain, increasing efficiency in work and play. In my practice, your massage is just that - your massage, responsive to you and your body. My ideal client is someone who could use lymph drainage (LDT). They are managing chronic toxicity from something like Lyme disease, fibromyalgia or even MS. LDT also can ease the swelling associated with cancer and its treatment. It speeds up the healing process with sprains and strains and makes us look younger too. My other favorite client needs craniosacral therapy (CST). They are dealing with something like developmental delays, ADD or sensory integration issues. It’s also good for promoting ongoing wellbeing. A baby who needs help adjusting to its new environment or who had a difficult birth will benefit in many ways from CST.

My private practice is about Functional Health and Peak Performance. My clients may have been injured, in pain, convalescing or in rehabilitation.
