Nicole Burnett is a graduate of SHI Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio. She is a licensed massage therapist through the Ohio State Medical Board and also holds her national certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. She has additional training in CranioSacral Therapy Levels I, II, III, S.E.R. and Lymphatic Drainage through the renown Upledger Institute. In addition she is trained in Brain Therapy from the Chickly Institute. She also holds certifications in Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Energy Therapy, and is trained in the John Barnes Method of Myofascial Release.

My ideal client is someone who has been through or is going through the cancer journey. I work with breast cancer clients who have lymphedema, need scar work or tissue mobilization to help ease pain and discomfort. I teach self care techniques to help the healing process daily. I work with those who have burn injuries for scar work and active isolated stretching. Those who have had head or neck cancer to help alleviate lymphedema, relieve scar tightness and pain and to help lighten scar appearance. My intent is to help anyone who receives a massage get relief from whatever is going on with their body.

Not Knotted Now invites You to experience therapeutic massage for relaxation as well as trauma/injury recovery. The basic menu items offered are; Swedish for relaxation and boosted immune system performance, Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy® for increased flexibility or recovery from injury/repetitive stress syndromes. Some conditions that Massage can help improve are stiff joints, chronic back/neck pain, and help to reduce headaches. Your session is customized to your needs using these foundational therapies with multiple energy or balance techniques to assist in Your healing experience.

My goal as a massage therapist is pain prevention and early recognition of common strain patterns before they become pain patterns. I accomplish this through structural assessments; focusing on myoskeletal symmetry and customizing your care through implementing modalities which are known to work for myofascial pain and myoskeletal alignment. Clinical therapeutic sessions may be accompanied with heat, cryotherapy, and stretching/strengthening.
