I began my career in Massage Therapy in, 2000, when I graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage and earned my National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am fluent in trigger point, Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release. Clients appreciate my firm, strong touch, my intuition, and my specific knowledge of anatomy. Also, I prides myself on my ability to tune into my client's tissues and feel the minute changes that occur, enabling me to respond to the body rather than intrude on it. Each of my sessions is individually tailored to meet the client's needs.

My passion is using Eastern healing methods to enhance my clients' well-being. I was introduced to shiatsu as a college student in Tokyo while training Shotokan Karate at International Christian University. I experienced first hand how shiatsu improves flexibility, speeds recovery time and enhances performance. I studied shiatsu at the Ohashi Institute in NY, where I received my certification in 1994 and then opened my practice. My interest in Asian philosophy, language and culture underlies my shiatsu practice. It enables me to fully use my skills and knowledge to help clients heal, relax, and achieve healthier, happier lives.

Victoria Goldsten has been caring for the sick since 1973. Her first health care experience was in nursing at several local hospitals and health care facilities. She later studied and became certified in: Homeopathy, Reiki, Lymphatic Drainage, Chakra Balancing, Acupressure, and Hypnotherapy. She has a B.S. degree in Nursing and a Doctorate degree in Homeopathy. She is currently practicing as an Integrative Homeopath and Massage Therapist in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She is Licensed in Nursing and Massage by the State of Maryland and Washington, D.C. She is currently working as the Director and a practitioner at the Washington Institute.

Jill specializes in lymphatic drainage for the treatment of lymphedema, oncology massage for adult and pediatric patients, therapeutic massage and energy healing. Jill has extensive experience working with clients diagnosed with lymphedema, providing lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling, compression bandaging and teaching clients how to successfully manage their lymphedema independently. In addition, she has considerable experience working with patients before and after surgery (joint replacements, plastic surgery, liposuction) using lymphatic drainage to reduce bruising, swelling and pain.
